Porta coeli - Předkláštěří

The monastery Porta Coeli (Latin Heaven's Gate) is an early Gothic monastery in Předklášteří near Tišnov. It is the only Cistercian monastery. The first mention of it dates back to 1233, but probably was founded three years earlier. The monastery was built in 1233-1239 with the support of Queen Constance and her two sons. The monastery church was consecrated in the 1239th It is a three-aisled basilica with a transept and elongated presbytery. The western side of the ship-grabbing French style portal in the style of Burgundy-Cistercian Gothic. Architecturally interesting is also the cloister with the Garden of Eden and the chapter house of 1260-1270 with the original stone pulpit. n 2010 he was declared a national cultural monument.

Klášter Porta Coeli (latinsky Brána nebes) je raně gotický klášter v Předklášteří u Tišnova. Je to jediný moravský ženský cisterciácký klášter. První zmínka o něm pochází z roku 1233, ale pravděpodobně byl založen o tři roky dříve. Klášter byl postaven v roce 1233-1239 s podporou královny Konstancie a jejích dvou synů. Klášterní kostel byl vysvěcen v roce 1239. Jde o trojlodní baziliku s příčnou lodí (transept) a protáhlým presbytářem. Západní stranu lodi zdobí výrazný portál francouzského typu ve stylu tzv. burgundsko-cisterciácké gotiky. Architektonicky zajímavá je také křížová chodba s rajskou zahradou a kapitulní síň z roku  1260-1270 s původním kamenným pulpitem. V roce 2010 byl prohlášen národní kulturní památkou.

 Lions - on the sides are the guardians of the portal entrance.

 Lvi - po stranách portálu jsou stážci vchodu.
